The Student Portal

The student portal is home to the online learning resources required for each of PrintLab’s lesson plans (CAD tutorial videos, explainer videos etc). The lesson plans will instruct you on how and when to direct students to these resources during a project. Additionally, the student portal resources are also structured in such a way that gives users the option to work through each project online in a self-paced manner without a teacher, which can be a preferred method for libraries, makerspaces and distance-learning. The URL for the student portal is https://learn.weareprintlab.com/ and is accessed via a code that allows resources to be viewed on devices anywhere and anytime.


Where to find the student portal access code for subscribers

  • If you signed up to our teacher or site license through our website, a PDF document will be sent to you within 24 hours of your purchase, which provides you with your student portal access code. Please check the inbox (+ junk/spam folders) of the email that you signed up to PrintLab with.
  • If you signed up to our teacher or site license via a reseller, you will have been sent a PDF document, which provides you with your student portal access code.


Where to find the student portal access code for trial users

  • If you enrolled in The PrintLab Classroom Trial, you will have been shown your access code on-screen and instructed to make note of it. If you missed this step or have misplaced the code, reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll provide you with a new code.


How to change your student portal access code

  • You can change your student portal access code at anytime by emailing [email protected] and referencing your current code. This can be particularly useful for schools at the end of the year when some students graduate and you need to reallocate their access. Additionally, makerspaces and organisations may want to change their access code periodically, depending on how they want to distribute access to members.
